The Safest Towns in Connecticut for 2020
The Safest Towns in Connecticut for 2020
Connecticut is considered one of the safest states in America, ranked 5th safest state to be exact! That’s a violent crime rate of 207.4 per 100,000 people. Not to mention, we’re also ranked second on the Human Development Index (an average of education, life expectancy, and salaries in all fifty states), this is comparable to the country of Norway. Now that is another feather in its cap.
Given Connecticut’s proactive approach to crime fighting, we weren’t surprised that the state’s top five safest cities are also some of the safest in the nation. More specifically, Ridgefield, CT is ranked number 2 safest towns in the USA! Almost half of the cities on our list are in Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, or Massachusetts—all northeastern states. See the full list.
